Hoffmann-Jayer Nuits-St-Georges Premer Cru Les Damodes 2017
The plot producing grapes for "Les Damodes" is located in the north of Nuits-Saint-Georges at an altitude of 230m. The pinot noir grapes are hand-picked at peak maturity, sorted, destemmed and put into vats. The fermentation lasts between 20 and 25 days. After racking, pressing and settling, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before being aged between 14 to 18 months in 100% in new oak barrels. Limited to approximately 600 bottles.
